How Growth works for home service businesses.
Local search is won or lost in the details — map pack position, review rating, citation consistency. Growth handles all of it every month.
"We were ranking #5 on Google Maps for 'AC repair Toronto' — right below four competitors. Summer bookings were half what we expected."
Growth audits GBP — finds incomplete service list, no recent posts, and 3 missing citation sources competitors have.
We update the profile, add weekly posts through peak season, and build citations on HomeStars and HVAC-specific directories.
Ranks #1 in map pack within 6 weeks. Summer call volume up 40%.
"A customer left a 2-star review claiming we never showed up. We did show up — the booking was cancelled by them. It sat there for four months before I even noticed."
Growth alerts within 24 hours of new reviews. We draft a professional response clarifying the situation — factual, calm, no defensiveness.
You approve the response in one click. We also run a review request campaign to recent happy customers to offset the rating.
Rating recovers from 3.9 to 4.6 within 8 weeks. The negative review is now buried below 14 positive ones.
"A competitor started outranking us for 'roof replacement Mississauga' — a job we've been doing for 12 years. We had no idea until enquiries dropped off."
Growth detects the ranking shift and flags it in your monthly report — with data on what changed in the competitor's profile.
We update GBP service descriptions to match the search intent, add local area keywords, and increase post frequency.
Ranking recovered in 5 weeks. Competitor activity now tracked monthly as standard.
Common questions about Growth.
-
How long before I see results?
Most clients see measurable improvements in search impressions and keyword positions by the end of month 2. Traffic and lead changes typically follow in months 3–4. SEO compounds over time — the longer you stay active, the wider the advantage over competitors who aren't doing it.
-
What exactly do you do each month?
Every month: SEO audit and technical fixes, one or more new local content pages written and published, Google Business updated with fresh photos and posts, all reviews responded to, keyword ranks tracked, and a summary report sent to your inbox. We prioritise whichever actions will have the highest impact that month.
-
What's the starting point — do I need a website already?
Growth includes the Care plan, which covers website setup or refresh. If you don't have a site, we'll build one as part of onboarding. If you already have a website, we can either work within it or migrate it to Nilead's managed system — depending on what fits.
-
How much of my time does this take?
Almost none. Most clients spend less than 15 minutes a month — mainly reading the monthly report and approving any content that needs your sign-off. You can also write or edit content yourself if you want to be more hands-on. The tools are there when you want them; we handle it when you don't.
-
What if I already have Google Business set up?
Great — we'll audit what you have and start improving it from there. Most profiles we see are incomplete or stale. We update hours, add photos, post monthly updates, respond to reviews, and complete any Q&A sections that are missing. Even a well-set-up profile benefits from consistent monthly attention.
-
How is this different from a one-time SEO agency?
One-time SEO audits give you a list of things to fix — but local search requires ongoing work. Google rewards fresh content, active profiles, and consistent updates. Growth handles all of it every month without you needing to chase an agency or manage freelancers. It's a service, not a report.
-
Can I write my own content instead?
Yes. The self-serve content editor lets you write or edit blog posts, service descriptions, and FAQs — and they publish directly to your site. Nilead handles writing by default, but you can take over any piece you want to write yourself. Both approaches work in the same plan.
-
Is there a contract or lock-in?
No lock-in contract. Growth is month-to-month. We recommend staying for at least three months to see meaningful results — but you're not obligated to. You own all the content and pages we publish, even if you cancel.
