The Visual Editor in Nilead gives you full control to copy or cut entire elements—or just styles, interactions, and conditions—and paste them exactly where you want. Whether you’re building faster layouts or replicating interactions across pages, this guide shows you how.
Logged in with edit access
Visual Editor must be open
At least one element must already exist on the page
For cross-page paste, navigate to the target page before pasting
Start by opening the Visual Editor for the page you’re working on.

Hover over the element you want to duplicate or reuse. Click the 3-dot menu (•••) on that element.

You have several options:
Cut Element: Removes the element and makes it available for pasting elsewhere
Copy Element: Copies the entire element, including its children
Copy Styles: Copies only the element’s design attributes
Copy Interactions: Copies animations or behavior logic
Copy Conditions: Copies visibility or logic-based display rules

Click the 3-dot menu of the element or section where you want to paste.
Choose from the following paste actions:
Paste as Child – Nest the element inside the selected element
Paste as First Child – Nest the element at the top inside the selected element
Paste as Sibling – Add the element next to the selected one
Paste Styles / Interactions / Conditions Only – Apply only copied attributes to the target element

As long as the element remains selected, you can paste it as many times as needed—even across different pages.

You can paste copied elements to other pages:
Go to the Page Navigation panel
Select the target page
Wait for it to load in preview mode
Use the same Paste options from Step 4

Note: The copied element or attributes remain active until you perform another copy/cut action or exit the editor.
When pasting to a new page, wait a few seconds for the element to appear in the live preview. You can then reposition or customize it as needed.

1. Can I paste the same element more than once?
Yes, as long as it remains selected, you can paste it as many times as needed—even across different pages.
2. What's the difference between Paste as Child and Paste as Sibling?
“Child” places the element inside another; “Sibling” places it alongside at the same level.
3. Can I copy multiple elements at once?
Currently, copy/cut is for one element at a time. For grouped layouts, nest them in a container and copy the container.
4. Does pasting styles overwrite existing ones?
Yes, when you paste styles, they override the current styles of the target element.
5. Can I undo a paste?
Yes. Use the Undo button in the top toolbar or press Ctrl+Z (Cmd+Z on Mac).
