Nilead supports multilingual websites through locale management. A "locale" defines the user's preferred language, region, and format settings. This guide helps you add, update, or remove locales in your admin panel so your content can reach a global audience.

Access to the Nilead Admin Panel
A basic understanding of your website's content structure
Log in to your Nilead Admin Panel.
Open the Quick Menu (press Ctrl + K or click the search icon).
Search for “Language” or “Localization” and select the Language Management screen.


On the Language screen, click the “+ Create” icon in the top-right corner.
Fill in the following fields:
Locale Code (e.g., en_US, fr_FR)
Language Name (e.g., English, French)
Optional: set this locale as the default for your site.
Click Save to apply the changes.

📝 Tip: Use ISO locale codes to ensure compatibility with other tools and integrations.
Click on any locale listed in the Language table.
Modify fields such as name, locale code, or default status.
Click Save to update.
In the Language screen, check the box next to one or more locales you wish to delete.
Open the Bulk Actions dropdown.
Select “Delete” and confirm the action.

No, only one locale can be set as the default. However, you can publish content in multiple locales.

Localized content for that locale will no longer display. It’s best to back up translations before deletion.
4. Are URLs different for each locale?
Yes. Nilead automatically structures URLs to support locale-based routing, such as /en/about or /fr/about.
5. Does Nilead support auto-translation?
Yes, Nilead integrates with AI tools to assist in generating localized content. You can enable this via your AI settings or bring your own API key.
